Peel the onions and slice them about 3/4 inch thick. Set aside.
Mix the water, Yellowbird Habanero Condiment, and 1/4 cup flour in a bowl. Mix 3/4 cup flour with the rest of the ingredients in another bowl.
Submerge the onion rings in the wet mixture and then in the dry mixture.
Bake them on a baking sheet with baking paper for 20–25 minutes.
Or if you prefer fried onion rings, add safflower oil to a deep frying pan until it's one inch deep. Place over medium heat and allow to get hot. Place onion rings in oil for about 1 minute each. Remove and set on a cooling rack. Eat and be merry!
