Molten Morning Melt

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE DISH

2 Slices Bread, Toasted

4 Slices Bacon

1 Egg, Scrambled

3 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter, Softened

3 Slices American Cheese

Salt + Pepper, To Taste

1/4 C. Hot Dip Serrano

PREPARATION

15 MINUTES / 1 SERVING

  1. Gently scramble 1 egg over medium-high heat in a small skillet with 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Pull the eggs off the heat before they have the chance to brown, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Spread softened butter on both sides of each slice of bread. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a tablespoon of butter inside it. Once melted, place 1 slice of bread in the skillet and top with cheese, scrambled egg, and bacon. Top with second slice of bread. Once the underside is golden brown, turn the sandwich and toast the other side of the sandwich.
  3. Serve with Hot Dip Serrano to bring some spicy tomatillo to the party!
