Yellowbird Smoky Southern Jalapeño Chili


This chili has no chill. Yellowbird Original Jalapeño Condiment lights a fire in this spicy meat medley. Fly fast, burn wild.

 

Ingredients

FOR THE CHILI

  • ½ C. Yellowbird Serrano Condiment
  • 5 Lbs Chuck Roast, Cubed
  • 1 1/2 C. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Fresh Tamarind, Seeds Removed
  • 1 Tsp. Fenugreek
  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Whole Onions
  • 2 Tbsp. Organic Ghost Pepper Condiment

Preparation

FOR THE CHILI

  1. Pour oil into a medium heavy saucepan ˜t with a deep-fry thermometer. Heat over medium heat to 350°.

  2. Add all ingredients to Instant Pot® and stir to incorporate.

  3. Instant Pot Method®
    Select the manual setting; adjust pressure to high, and set time for 18 minutes. When finished cooking, quick-release pressure according to manufacturer's directions.

  4. Slow Cook Method (Preferred)
    Set your Instant Pot® to slow cooker setting and allow to cook for 12 hours.
