Ingredients:
FOR THE HABANERO SALT
- 1/4 C. Yellowbird Organic Habanero Hot Sauce
- 1 C. Salt
FOR THE NUTS
- 1 C. Raw Almonds
- 1 Tsp. Honey
- Habanero Salt, To Taste
- 1 Tbsp. Yellowbird Organic Habanero Hot Sauce
Instructions:
FOR THE HABANERO SALT

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, combine salt and Yellowbird Habanero Hot Sauce and mix until fully combined.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread salt and habanero sauce mixture out into a thin layer across the baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and immediately lower heat to 200 degrees.

Bake for 10 minutes.

When time is up, turn the oven off. Don't open the door. Allow the salt to cool completely in the oven.
- Once completely cool, put salt into a food processor and give it a few pulses to break up any clumps.
FOR THE NUTS

Preheat the oven to 350˚F.

In a medium bowl stir together almonds, Yellowbird Habanero Hot Sauce, honey, and habanero salt until combined. Place mixture in baking pan in a thin layer. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Almonds will continue to cook after they've been removed from the oven, so allow them to cool in the baking pan.
