Move over Heinz—there’s a new condiment in town, and it wears its crown with swagger. Yellowbird’s Classic Blue Agave Sriracha is what happens when your favorite ketchup grows up, goes backpacking through Mexico, and comes home enlightened.

This stuff is sweet, spicy, and dangerously addictive. The agave adds just the right smooth, honey-like note that softens the heat without dulling it. I’ve drizzled it on my breakfast eggs, my wood-fired pizza, grilled cheese, even my pasta salads get some—honestly, if I ever find a food it doesn’t improve, I’ll alert the media.

I’ve started calling it “the new adult fancy ketchup” because it just feels sophisticated—like your taste buds put on a blazer but still showed up to the party with sneakers.

Bottom line: this isn’t just a hot sauce, it’s a personality. Keep one bottle in your fridge, another in your car, and a third hidden from your friends who will “just try a little.” I had to start getting them from the website because the store size was too small. I may have to upgrade to the jug size pretty soon.

I’m not a big sriracha girly, and it is very rare that I ever leave reviews for items. However, I am genuinely obsessed with this sriracha. I saw it a few times in the grocery store and was intrigued by the packaging but never got it. I finally caved and got it because why not and it is currently my favorite hot sauce to use on top of literally everything. My eggs, avocado toast, I am currently eating a bowl of pasta and I put it right on top and it’s still bomb. So therefore I had to write this review because even putting it on pasta it is amazing. I highly recommend.

My trashiest snack is this on sharp cheddar cheese. Thankfully, it’s a rarity. This sriracha is excellent on anything keto: western omelets, burgers, steak stir fry, roast chicken. It’s genius that YB includes two but also it’s a social dilemma: give one to a friend or use em both? Either way, the ‘bird is the best and I ain’t goin anywhere else for sriracha.
